Chapter 24

July 2009

Portimao is amazing! There are loads of places around the town that I want to draw. And the light is fantastic! It makes such a difference when you can see everything so clearly.

I've found some great places to run too; the longer of the two beaches and the sand dunes to the west of the town by the mouth of the small river. On alternate days I run for around half an hour early in the morning. It's good to get some fresh air into my lungs when there aren't many people around.

For the past two years, Claire has gone on holiday with Natasha's family. This year, Natasha has come with us, so they have the large room with twin beds. I have the single room next door. It's okay. I won't be in it much.

It's Thursday morning and we're on our way to Albufeira, me, Mum and Dad, that is. Claire and Natasha have stayed behind. That's no surprise. I've not seen much of them since we arrived. They appear at breakfast and join us for dinner in the evenings. At other times they do their own thing, like wandering through the Old Town, or sunning themselves on the beach.

We have no problem finding the villa. Louise, Jayden and their mum and dad are there to greet us. Louise gives me a big hug, looking very pleased to see me. That's fair enough. This was her idea. We go inside for cold drinks all round. It's obvious that mum thinks there's something going on between me and Louise. Well, it's obvious to me. I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed. I'm not going to say anything. I'll just pretend I haven't noticed either and carry on being me.

"Dad, is it okay if we go to the beach now?" Jayden asks.

"Yes, go on," Mr Kirby says, "but make sure you're back for twelve. We're going out to lunch."

"No problem!" Jayden says, smiling.

Louise, Jayden and I make our way out, leaving the adults behind.

"Aren't your brother and sister here?" I ask.

"Alison's backpacking round Europe," Jayden says, "but "Gareth's here. He's already down at the beach, playing with his mates."

That makes sense. Alison's just finished her 'A' levels, while Gareth, who's only eleven, will be starting at the Grammar School in September.

"At least with Alison not here, Gareth and I get to share the big room," Jayden adds.

"And I have to use the small one with those horrible bunk beds!" Louise counters. "Bunk beds are for boys!"

"Don't start that again," Jayden says, grinning. "You know what Dad said."

Louise pulls a face, like she's not really happy about it, but isn't going to argue. We arrive at the beach, quickly locating the gang they hang out with, some Brits, some Portuguese. I'm introduced as a friend from school. Jayden starts pointing out who's who, but there are too many for me to remember more than a few of them.

"And this is Rafael," Louise says dreamily.

She's holding hands with an athletic looking boy I'd guess to be around sixteen, with large brown eyes, dark wavy hair and a tan to die for. I swallow hard. He is stunningly good looking.

"Hi!" I say, trying not to look like a total idiot. "Nice to meet you!"

Well, there are no prizes for guessing what's going on here! Louise's face says it all. In a way, it's quite a relief. If the question's ever asked, I've got the perfect answer. Louise has a new boyfriend. I can't be expected to do anything about that, now can I?

Jayden and some of the other boys head down the beach for a kick-about. It seems that football's as big an obsession here as it is at home. I'm left with the girls, plus Rafael. He's firmly attached to Louise and she's making damn sure he stays that way.

At ten to twelve, Louise reluctantly tears herself away. The three of us stroll back to the villa. Gareth's already there. Quite tall for his age, he's like a smaller version of Jayden, only his hair's fair rather than mousey coloured. He seems like a good kid.

With everyone assembled, we walk the short distance to the restaurant. As soon as we step inside, I realise it's going to be one of those long, Mediterranean-style lunches. Shit! This could get seriously boring! I grit my teeth and make sure that I sit next to Louise. Mum would ask all sorts of questions if I didn't.

It's quarter to two before we manage to extricate ourselves. We step out into the sunshine. Gareth can't wait to get back to play with his friends. Louise seems equally keen to rejoin you-know-who.

"Haven't you got any swimming shorts?" Jayden asks, nodding at the cargo shorts I'm wearing.

"Yeah," I say. "They're in my bag. It's back at your place."

"You carry on," he says to Gareth and Louise. "We'll see you in a bit."

Louise and Gareth head for the beach. Jayden trots back into the restaurant, leaving me outside. After a few moments he reappears.

"Come on," he says. "I've got the keys from Mum."

We walk back to the villa. He lets us in. I pick up my bag and follow him to the room he shares with Gareth. He closes the blinds, turns and smiles. I hesitate. Is he going to leave me to get changed or . . . ? He stays right where he is. So that is why we're here! I did wonder while we were driving over here, but up till thirty seconds ago, Jayden hadn't given me the smallest hint. Even just now, when we were walking back from the restaurant, it was all, like, totally 'normal'.

"Come here," he says gently, wrapping his arms round me, his hands running over my bum.

"Suppose your mum and dad come back?" I ask anxiously.

"They won't," he whispers, stroking my hair. "They'll be there for hours. Trust me."

"What about Anthony?"

"Oh, don't worry about that," he says. "When Ant and I are together, we're together, yeah? But when we're away on holiday, it's like "Don't ask, don't tell."

Actually, I already knew that. It's what Anthony told me last summer. And I'm not objecting. Jayden's hot, and I'm in Portugal for two weeks with little chance of finding sex anywhere else.

We slowly undress each other. I undo the Velcro fastener on his shorts, easing them down over his hips. Oh yes! He's got an absolute beauty, about the same length as Dean's, but thicker, about like Jimmy's was.

"Wow!" I gasp. "That's a nice one!"

"Yours is beautiful too," he breathes, gently tugging down my boxer briefs.

We get onto the bed. He's all over me, kissing, sucking, fondling. It's wonderful, absolute heaven! It just doesn't get any better.

"Lou told me you've been having the hots for Adam Barr," he whispers.

"Yeah, until I actually met him," I shoot back. "He is well up himself!"

"Oh, that's Adam" he agrees. "How did you meet him?"

"At an athletics match. We were both running the fifteen hundred, yeah? Patrick Keaveney was running too, and he made it really quick. He always does. Adam was really sulky about it, reckoned it had cost him a good chance to win. Then at the next race Patrick beat him. Well, he didn't like that! He could barely bring himself to shake Patrick's hand."

"Yeah, I'm afraid that's how he is." Jayden says. "Lou wanted to go out with him. I had to warn her not to. He treats girls like shit. All he wants is a quick fuck. Anyway, that's enough about him. Will you bend over the cabinet for me?"

I do as he asks. I'm so into it, if he asked me to jump out of the window I'd probably do it. He gets off the bed, moving in behind me.

"Beautiful little bum!" he coos.

Suddenly there's a warm, wet feeling. Holy shit! I never expected him to do that! Better still, he's pushing right inside. The sensations are unbelievable!

"Are you ready?" he asks.

"Yeah!"

"Here or on the bed?"

"On the bed!"

I quickly take up my favourite position.

"Ant told me you liked it like that," he says, lining himself up.

That was right off the scale. I thought Dean was physical. Jayden just blew him away. Stuck his tongue down my throat and totally went for it. And we're not just sticky; we're pretty well glued together.

He lifts himself off me, prising us apart. After steadying himself, he carefully pulls out. That's when I realise how messy I am. I need the toilet, like now. I gingerly get off the bed and head towards the bathroom, desperate to get to the loo before things get really messy.

After cleaning up, I make my way back to the bedroom. My bum's a bit sore, but it's not a problem. Jayden, his shorts back on, is sitting on the bed.

"Are you okay?" he asks.

"Yeah, sure," I say, parking myself next to him.

"That was fantastic!" he whispers, putting his arm round my shoulder. "You're amazing!"

"Thanks," I say grinning up at him. So d'you have sex with any of the other boys here?"

"I haven't yet but I'm working on it," he says guardedly. "Tiago's gorgeous. I think he'd be up for it. But I need to get him away from his mates, yeah? I don't want the other guys finding out."

"Tiago?" I query.

"He's thirteen," Jayden tells me, "quite tall, slim, nice tan, short dark hair."

I think I know which kid he's talking about. He's nice. I wouldn't say no.

"Have you ever done anything with Gareth?" I enquire.

"No way!" Jayden says emphatically. "Gaz is only eleven, and he's my little brother. I'm not that much of a perv!"

"Sorry," I say, smiling at him. "I just wondered."

"We'd better get back," he says.

"Mum thinks there's something going on with me and Louise," I say, pulling on my swimming shorts.

"I thought your parents knew you were gay."

"They do. I told them at Christmas. It's Mum. She's clutching at straws. Louise has known that I'm gay for ages."

"Actually, your mum's not totally wrong," he says thoughtfully. "Lou likes you a lot, you know? She says you're cute and kind and funny. She said once it's a shame that you're gay."

"So what's with the boyfriend?" I ask.

"Oh, we've known Rafa for years," he says. "Because we come here every year, we've pretty much grown up together. Lou's never shown much interest in him before, but for the past few months, boys are all she seems to think about. So when we all met up on Monday, she went right for him. Now it's like they can't get enough of each other."

"He is very good looking," I comment.

"Yeah, I saw you ogling him this morning."

"Ooops!"

"Don't worry," he says, grinning. "I don't think anyone else noticed."

We leave the villa and stroll to the beach, slotting back into the gang. Louise and Rafael aren't there.

"They always go off together in the afternoons," Jayden whispers. "Don't say anything, will you? She doesn't want Mum and Dad to know."

We pull out our towels, settling ourselves on the sand.

"That's Tiago," Jayden says quietly, discreetly indicating a boy in black shorts and Portugal football top.

I nod. It's the boy I thought it was. He's an inch or two taller than me and very cute. I'm not surprised that Jayden fancies him. Several of us trot down the beach for a splash-about. After chasing around splashing each other for a while, we return to where we've left our towels and stuff. A few minutes later, another football game is proposed.

"It's too hot," Jayden objects.

If I wasn't here, I'm sure he'd play, but he doesn't want to leave me with only the girls for company.

"You go if you want," he continues, addressing the boys "We'll stay here."

They head down onto the tide-wash and begin their game. I watch them admiringly, Tiago in particular. He's graceful and athletic, absolutely gorgeous. There aren't many thirteen-year olds I'd like to have sex with. He's an exception.

A group of younger kids appears in the distance. Two of them peel away, trotting towards us. It's Gareth, accompanied by a smaller boy who's as dark as Gareth's fair, his cheeky face topped by a mop of jet back curls.

"Here's trouble," Jayden mutters.

The two eleven-year olds stop in front of us.

"Who this?" the dark-haired boy asks, pointing at me.

"This is Ian, a friend from England," Jayden tells him.

"Me Lucas," the boy says, grinning.

He thrusts his hips obscenely, a small but clearly visible hard-on sticking up in his shorts. Gareth giggles, looking embarrassed.

"You like?" Lucas demands.

"Gareth, take him away," Jayden orders, sounding irritated.

Lucas and Gareth grin at each other before scampering off.

"I don't know why Gareth always hangs out with him," Jayden says, frowning. "It's like they're joined at the hip."

"I don't think it's just the hip they've been joined at," I say.

"I'm not going there," Jayden responds firmly. "If they're messing about, that's up to them. I'm not getting involved. They're four years younger than me. If anyone found out, I'd get the blame for it."

"Fair enough," I say, smiling.

"It's weird though," Jayden says. "Gareth's totally not like that at home. We share a bedroom, but I haven't seen him naked since he was about three."

"I'm guessing that Lucas's been showing him what his boy-parts are for," I suggest.

"Probably," Jayden says. "Lucas's wild. That's what's so weird. At home, Gareth's really quiet."

"Opposites attract," I venture.

"You mean like me and Anthony?"

He's right. That's exactly what I mean.

At dinner, I sit next to Louise again. Afterwards, we drive back to Portimao. It's nearly ten o' clock when we get there. We stroll into the villa, flopping down in the lounge. It's been a long day.

"So how are you and Louise getting on?" Mum enquires, looking at me intently.

"Oh, we're good," I say brightly.

"Why wasn't she with you when you came back to the villa this afternoon?" she continues. "You came back with Jayden."

"She was chatting to her mates," I say casually. "You know, the way girls do." I could have just told her the truth, but she'd have been upset. That's the last thing I need.

"Mrs Kirby's invited us to go there again next Tuesday," Mum goes on.

"Cool," I respond. "I'll look forward to it. I get to my feet. "I'm off to bed," I announce.

I wander into my room, wishing Mum could finally accept the way things are. I begin to get undressed. There's a tap on the door. Not Mum, surely? I certainly hope it isn't.

"Come in," I call.

To my relief, Dad appears. He sits on my bed, indicating for me to sit next to him.

"Are you okay?" he asks.

"Yes, sure," I tell him.

"I'm sorry your mum quizzed you like that," he says.

"She seems to think there's something going on with me and Louise."

"And there isn't, of course."

"No way. It's just wishful thinking."

"That's what I thought."

"When we were in Year Eight, I used to hang out with Louise and her friends more than I did with the boys. That was the main reason I got picked on for being gay."

"Oh, I see," Dad says thoughtfully. "Just between you and me, when you and Jayden came back before dinner, was Louise chatting to her mates?"

"No, she was with her boyfriend."

"But you didn't want to tell Mum that?"

"No, it'd have been like I was rubbing her face in it. We're on holiday, yeah? I just want everyone to be happy."

"Thanks!" he says, smiling. "Well, I'd better leave you to it."

The drawing's been awesome! A couple of days ago I was down at the harbour. Some local boys, were hanging out, ages between eleven and fifteen, I'd guess, all dressed in shorts and not much else. They were hot! I just had to draw them! I did them using pastels. Drawing them in black and white just wouldn't have cut it. Dad says I've improved out of all recognition. That can't be bad!

The running's been going well too. Going out as early as I do, when I reach the sand dunes there's never anyone around, so I take off my trainers and run in bare feet. It's amazing!

This morning, Mum, Dad and I are on our way back to Albufeira. I'm a little apprehensive. I'm hoping that I'll be able to get together with Jayden again, but will that be possible? In any case, if he's succeeded in getting it on with Tiago, he might not want to. That would be a major disappointment.

We arrive a little earlier than we did last Thursday. Jayden and Louise are still at the villa, but Gareth's already gone out to play, the same as last time. We park ourselves in the lounge room.

"Right," Mr Kirby says. "We're going to show Mr and Mrs Haskell around the area. While we're gone, we're trusting you guys to be sensible and not get into mischief. Understood?"

"Yes, dad," Jayden acknowledges.

Louise just smiles sweetly. She's good at that.

"I've told Gareth to be back here for twelve," Mr Kirby goes on, addressing himself to Jayden. "Let me know if he isn't." Jayden nods his understanding. "We'll be back between six and half past," Mr Kirby concludes, "so make sure you're back here no later than six."

A few minutes later, the adults are on their way. I can hardly believe my luck. This is even better than I'd hoped. I'm not sure exactly what's going to happen, but I'm sure something will.

The morning is uneventful. The three of us stroll down the beach and hang out, just as we had the last time I was here. At quarter to twelve, Jayden and I head back to the villa. Louise stays with Rafael.

"Don't worry about Lou," Jayden says casually. "She's got some money, enough to get them something to eat. We'll catch up with them later."

On the dot of twelve o'clock, Gareth breezes in. We make ourselves some lunch, sitting around the kitchen to eat it. Finally, we clear away.

"Can I go back to the beach now?" Gareth asks.

"Come here then!" Jayden orders.

Gareth takes off his top, allowing Jayden to plaster him in sunscreen. There's an obvious stirring in Gareth's shorts.

"Okay," Jayden says, satisfied that his younger brother won't get sunburnt.

Gareth hesitates. Jayden and I look at each other. Jayden shrugs. I kneel down, Gareth in front of me.

"Promise you won't tell anyone?" I say, looking up at him.

"Course I won't!" he replies, grinning.

"Promise?" Jayden demands.

"Promise!"

I undo Gareth's shorts, sliding them over his hips. They fall to the floor, exposing an uncut four inches, medium thick, large round balls hanging beneath. That's huge, considering he's barely five feet tall and won't turn twelve until September. I guess big cocks must run in the family.

I take it into my mouth, holding him around the thighs. He rests his hands on my head, gently urging me on. Suddenly his whole body stiffens. He gasps, his fingers clawing at my hair. His cock jerks wildly, a few drops of watery fluid coating my tongue. I ease myself away. Gareth pulls up his shorts, grinning like the Cheshire Cat.

"Right! Off you go!" Jayden orders. "Be back here by ten to six and not a moment later! And remember what we said!"

Quickly donning his tee-shirt, Gareth scampers through the door.

"I can't believe we just did that," Jayden says.

"He obviously wanted it," I say casually. "And he knows what's going on. I'd guess Lucas must have told him."

"You don't get it, do you?" Jayden responds with a note of exasperation. "Gareth and I share a bedroom three hundred and sixty-five days a year. What's going to happen when we get home? I'm not going to cheat on Anthony. And it's not just that. If I start doing stuff with Gareth, well, we might start off just messing about, but, . . . well, things might go further than they ought to."

He means that sooner or later he'd do what he really likes. That might not be the best idea in the world, especially given the age difference.

"You need to talk to him," I say.

"Yeah, maybe," he says, sounding less than convinced. "So are we cool?"

"Sure," I tell him.

We make our way to the boys' bedroom. Within seconds we're both naked. I'm ready for this and then some. The foreplay is wonderful. I'm so horny I'd be up for just about anything.

"Are you ready?" he whispers.

"Yeah!" I breathe. "Let's do it!"

I'm just about to get onto my back, but he stops me.

"Get on all fours," he urges.

I do as he says. Moments later he's going for it like there was no tomorrow. It doesn't take him long. A few seconds later, he carefully pulls out. I look over my shoulder. He's kneeling at the foot of the bed.

"Come on!" he says, grinning. "You know what I want."

I turn to face him. It's what I want too.

After going to the bathroom to clean up, I pull my clothes on and head back to the lounge. Jayden's sitting on the sofa.

"Come here," he says, patting the sofa.

"Aren't we going to the beach?" I ask, flopping down next to him.

"Not yet," he says, putting his arm round my shoulder.

"What are we waiting for?" I query.

"You'll see," he says mysteriously. "Don't worry; it won't be long."

There's a pause.

"So how have you got on with Tiago?" I ask, by way of making conversation.

"Alright, sort of," he says. "He seemed okay with it when I asked him, but when it came to it he was very nervous. I managed to suck him off. He gave me a wank, but he seemed pretty uncertain about doing that. He held my cock like he thought it might explode or something."

"Oh, right," I say, grinning. "And did it?"

"Fuck!" he growls. "I came all over the place! You should have seen him. His eyes were like saucers!"

"So what's his cock like?"

"About like yours but a bit smaller and he hasn't got any pubes."

That sounds about right. Mine's twelve centimetres now. That's nearly five inches. A bit smaller than that is pretty good for a thirteen-year old.

"Sounds gorgeous," I comment. "Can he cum?"

"Yeah, but not very much."

"So are you hoping for a repeat performance?"

"I'm not sure," he says cautiously. "I'm not going to push it. It's not worth the risk."

"So you won't get to fuck him then?"

"No chance" he says, grinning. "It's a shame. He's got a beautiful arse."

"Gareth's pretty big for eleven, isn't he?" I say, changing the subject.

"Yeah; I'd no idea he had one as big as that."

"So how big was yours when you were his age?"

"I can't remember. Back then, I hadn't a clue about sex. All I thought about was football."

"Gareth seems to have lots of clues."

"Well, we know who that's down to," he says darkly. "It was nothing to do with me. Anyway, that's enough talking."

He draws me into a sensuous, post-sex kiss. We're still there when the doorbell rings. Jayden answers it, strolling back into the lounge with Louise and Rafael.

"There you are," he says, handing Louise the keys. "Be back at the beach for five, usual place. Don't be late!" He turns to me. "We're out of here," he says, jerking his head towards the door.

I follow him out. We turn towards the beach.

"Are they . . . you know?"

"What do you think?" he says casually. "This is the chance they've been waiting for, yeah? Don't worry. Lou's more savvy than you'd think. She's got all her bases covered."

He means she won't get pregnant. Even so, it's a surprise. As far as I know, Matthew hasn't had sex with Jane yet, and they've been going out for two years. Louise having sex before Jane is a total shock.

But what do I know? And I'm in no position to talk, am I? I wouldn't say anything about Louise anyway. She's a friend, one of the best I've got. If this is her first time, I just hope it goes better than mine did.

It's five to five when Louise and Rafael reappear on the beach. Louise drops the keys into Jayden's hand. Both she and Rafael look very happy, their hands still firmly clasped. To answer the question 'Did her first time go better than mine?' I'd say that I'm pretty sure it was; much better, in fact.

How much Louise knows about Jayden is something of a mystery. That's him all over. I think what it comes down to is that he helps to fix things so that she can spend time with Rafael. In return, she doesn't ask any awkward questions.

Then there was Tiago. I don't usually go for boys as young as him, but he was special. I'd have loved to have done something with him. It was never going to happen, of course. Finally, there was the encounter with Gareth. Why I chose to suck off a kid as young as him, I have no idea! Well, he was just about begging for it, and Jayden wasn't going to help him out. Even so, I don't think it was a good idea for me to have done it.

Of course, the holiday hasn't been all about sex. The only times I've done anything is when we've been over to Albufeira. Other than that, I've spent most of my time drawing. The work I've produced is probably my best ever. Dad thinks it is. I can't wait to show it to Mr Gault.

So tomorrow we'll be flying back to England. I'm going to miss this place. It's been an amazing holiday, probably the best ever. I'll be taking back some great memories.
