The Profile
blond hair blue eyes
a fresh young look with a scrawny size
you even had the perfect name
you fit the profile to play the game
it worked for a while
but eventually it ended
in this game of emotions
two hearts need to mend
he found someone new
now what do you do?
except sit around a while
as the other one meets the profile.
a slick new hairstyle
a new attitude for you child
and a goatee on your chin
to get your love back again
it comes right down to it
that's not going to do it
you have trust to rebuild
not a profile to fill
you have to work long and hard
and forget the score card
love will win in the end
if not, you'll have a good friend
