A New Day
When sadness and sorrow claim your soul
And the tunnel seems as black as coal
The deep darkness shrouds all
But one day that shadow will fall
No matter how much despair seems to grip
There will always be something to let slip
After the greatest darkness the light shall shine
Your dreams will come true, things will be fine
When a new day comes and the light shines again
And your heart is lifted from the deepest pain
There are dreams to dream and beliefs to be held
Through the light of day your desires are truly felt
Each day is a new beginning, a new start
Fresh from the cares of yesterday far apart
A new dawn, a new hope, a new way
The light shines clearer on a new day
