I Stay Quiet

I have a lot to say,
but I stay quiet,
like I always do.

I want to tell you that everything is good,
almost like a dream,
but sometimes, sometimes
you turn your face from me,
and I stay quiet.

I'm exhausted, but I get up and wait,
I get up and wait for you.

I see your face in a picture,
and first you're near,
but in a second,
in a second you're so far away,
like a dying dream.

I want to tell you that I love you,
I want to tell you that I'll love you
forever, but I stay quiet.
