Life Lost

Oh, the sparkle in his eye
Oh, the life in his skin
Oh, his personality within
I'd die to have Jeff

I'll tell him tomorrow I say
But tomorrow never comes until it's to late
Oh, just give me one more day
But tomorrow never comes until it's to late

His aura around him
Brightens the darkest of days
As our skin turns cracked and leathered
My death arises
Still friends
But no more

Tomorrow never comes until it's to late
At my open casket
He leans down and looks upon me with tired blue eyes
He says to himself
Tomorrow never comes until it's to late
