Comments: I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your publishing deal for Chris and Nigel (I'll be getting a copy of that, by the way), your wonderful site, but mostly I'd like to share with you a bit what wisdom your stories have helped me realize.

I'm nineteen years old - I've known I liked other guys (in a sexual sense) for a great majority of my life. I also like girls in the same sense, but I hadn't truly realized one thing until I started reading your stories and the ones others have written.

Love is an emotional connection between two individuals, and that connection really has absolutely nothing to do with gender. It seems to be the truth to me, and yet I hadn't come to think of things that way until it was pointed out to me in Chris and Nigel. I suppose I knew it all along - as I said, it makes nothing but sense - but I'm glad the randomness of life directed me precisely to where it did, when it did.

I'm now anticipating a relationship - based on love - for the first time in my life. I had previously not thought about it. I'd had in the back of my mind a gnawing feeling, of sorts, one of loneliness and dissatisfaction. It's gone now, though, and not because I've found what I needed; rather, I've come to understand that it's out there, waiting for me, and just as the winds of existence brought me to IOMfAtS, it will also bring me to the person that I will one day love. Faith is underrated, and you've restored mine. Thank you.

I started to write this because I was bored and I enjoy patting people on the back for the things they've done for me and those like me. I started writing this because I'm excited about Chris and Nigel, the upcoming chapters, the soon-to-be-published book, etc. But I finished writing this because I wanted to thank you, truly, for weaving together these stories from your past and your imagination so that others could draw from the concepts and ideas in your mind and apply them, with love, to life.

I thank you again.

Comments: Just thought I would drop you a line here and tell you how much I like your stories: Your stories suck!

Ok, now that I got on your bad side, let me try to explain something. I've been thinking of this for some time and I am wondering if it is just me or if other people are of the same opinion as me.

"It sucks!"

That is a very common expression. From very young kids to older adults, we all say it. It seems by common opinion that when someone says something "sucks" that it is a "bad thing." Why?

As a gay man, when I hear that expression I automatically think of sucking a man's dick. Is this what "it sucks" is referring to? I think so.

But why?! I see nothing wrong with giving a man pleasure with my mouth. Ask ANY man, gay or straight, what is one of lifes greatest pleasures and 'getting a blowjob' will be very close to if not at the top of the list!

And yet that same man will say something "sucks" and mean it in a derogatory manner.

Is it just me? Or is this one of lifes weird ironies? I am not trying to get philosophical here, I just wanted another person's opinion on this. What do you think?

(Hopefully you have realized by now that I was joking when I said your stories "suck." I happen to love your stories, and just about all others that you host on this site!)

Oh, and I hope your "foreskin" project continues to go well for you. I'm one of the ones who was cut at birth, so I don't know the pleasures/downfalls of being uncut. It is an interesting subject for me. The funny thing is I'm 31 years old and I have never seen an uncut dick in real life. Guess that comes from being an American.

Enough chatter.

Hope all goes well in your life,
Brandon

Comments: Wow, Dude! I just wanted to tell you i was completely taken in by your story on nifty about the 14 y.o. kid fallen for a straight friend. Yes it is very okay to write about that kind of thing, because it is so poignant in so many or our lives. I had that or something like it happen to me so many times! And yet I was never brave enough (or drunk enough) to let on, as your hero did.

If you have time check out my true life, bitter-sweet story of my affair with my step-nephew. It shouldn't have happened. But it did, and I'm not one to wish for the past. It is experience, and some very sweet memory.

It is:

Enjoy, and I will go enjoy some more of yours.

Love and peace to you, friend!

"The worst feeling is that you see the person that you love everyday but knowing the fact that this person doesn't love you."

The thing above is something that a friend of mine told me. It's exactly how I feel last year, when I was with the boy that I loved. I will always love him.

Your stories are great. Nigel and Chris is really good. Keep up the good work.

Great story. A little hard for American-English speaking persons to get used to the lingo of our "parent Country." But written quite typical of how 14-15 year old males talk (and act). Waiting impatiently for the next chapter.

Comments: When I found your web site I was looking for some cheap thrill story. I started reading "Chris and Nigel". Well, the "thrill" part was wonderful. But there was more, as if these were real boys with real lives, not just boys having sex. The story, they story was so real, so completely intoxicating. I fell in love, with the story.

Much like Chris and Nigel I too had my share of teen gay sex, but not love, not like Chris and Nigel's. I never missed it, untill now. I wish there had been a Nigel for me, someone that made me feel so special, the way Nigel felt for Chris.

If I was a straight teen boy, reading this story, I would have to rethink my orientation. Not for the beautiful, encompacing sex sceans, but for the story of love.

Thank you.

As a rule, I skip over the Authoritarian section at Nifty and stop as soon as I realize a sory I have downloaded falls into that catagory. As you aid, this one is different. It as a love story, a love story between a man and a young teen. There were some rather graphic sex scenes but this was not 12 chapters of fucking, sucking and jacking with an occasional few connecting sentences. You can do this again.

Comments: Nice site, I feel sorry for those who're unable to love freely as they could... but it's not uncommon to happen with all those homophobia induced by the catholics! It was always OK to be gay before, Rome, Greek, and China... till about 16th century in western civilization, and about 18-19th century in asia. With a Catholic boy school and a Christian family, somehow I learn more about the bible that there is only 1 or 2 lines that describe it's not OK to be gay in the bible... but I am sure the whole book is filled with message such as "thou shalt not kill." ?? Jeus! People stone lepers to death at that age, if you want to follow the bible to pinpoint, then "let us not sin against those who sin against us." But heck, every one got a way to justify themselves, the pope wear a dress and tell us it's not ok to be gay. yeah, right!

I don't think one learn to be gay, for all those who think it's a choice, they should just try to force themselves to be gay for a week. How's that?

There is not a time ever I remember that I am eager to learn how to be gay, but it just hits me one day when you finally realize the feeling for your same sex friends is a little bit more than friendship...

I was brought up in a all male school, so I didn't really realize that I am different till very late age when I leave highschool... it's not always about sex... you just love... it's a feeling involuntary urge, maybe lust? Slowly grows with time when the fondness of friendship turns into pain, unfufilled emptiness...

Anyways, I am glad I am at a time where I am free to choose, I am thankful for those who fight for gay freedom, I am anger about how much hooligans still roam in the unsucessful education system, I am deliriously happy to have a wonderful, wonderful boyfriend.

Comments: I would have put this on your message board, but the server is down.

I have long enjoyed the Chris and Nigel series, and still look for more chapters. I also enjoyed very much a number of your single stories and now "Face at the Window".

I just hope that "Face at the Window" does not wither as have two other series that were supposed to be by a sequence of different authors. "Robin" has had no new chapters in well over a year, after reaching the grand size of two chapters. "Baysville" had its last chapter 8 July, over three months ago; at least, we have seen 17 chapters of that series. "Face at the Window" is very good and should continue, but the other two were also very good with a doubtful future.

I, like you, took my time to admit a feeling about a male in my past was more that I would admit at the time, but unlike you, I have actually met with him recently. I don't think it turned out to well. I would like to talk to you about him if you are interested. Please email me back if you are and I will respond.

Your stories have given me a great deal of pleasure for some time, I especially like the river ones and feel that 'The Holiday' is a future (if not already) a classic of it's type. I do like to see fleeting references to Chertsey, Weybridge and other local spots. Keep up the good work.

I really enjoy your site. You are one of us
who is clearly trying to combine fine,
perceptive writing with the feelings we have
for young lovers.

The more quality we can add to the writing
the more convincing oour case will be.

You'll find some of my stuff on Nifty though
have a look at what's available through Amazon
will show you what I am really about.

But this entry is for you, not for me,
so congratulations, and keep it up...
the good work, too!

Cheers,

It's a real plus to read a background on each story. And what kinda got to me was your sincerity in writing. Comments: I am such a fan of yours. Your stories are so beautiful, honest, true and it is obvious you care deeply about what you are writing about, not just for cheap thrills. From what I read of you, we are of similar age, you and I (I am just about to turn 47). I am an expat Brit., living in a cold climate (Iceland) and I can really relate to your stories as they ring so true and remind me of my own boyhood. I was brought up in London, the middle of three children, middle-class, no father on the scene, and I knew from an early age that I was not str8. However, we all make mistakes, and I got married, hoping to cure my dreadful isolation and that I might get "cured". WRONG!!!!! So now the Internet and "Nifty" are a very valuable outlet for me and it is so good to know that there are others "out there" in similar situations. I'll stop now, but thank you for being there. I have voted you a 10!
My best wishes.

Comments: how does one properly express those emotions that your novel surfaced. To say that this story has touched my heart deeply would be a gross understatement.I have read some of the comments and they all say the same thing. That we are loved. How many teens die by their own hand each year because they are not given the tools to cope with their young emotions. How many must die before we put an end to ignorance and just plain bigotry. As I stand before Man and God I shout that we all have the right to be who we are and have the God given right to choose who we can love. I believe that we are all children of God,His special kids. We are the chosen. robert starquest
